Poetic Quirks

Poetry Quirks

Poems with a pulse and a twist.

Poetry to fight with and endure

Welcome

This is a place for words that breathe.
Poems that don’t dress themselves up in velvet or marble halls, but walk with us through today , in the grit, the laughter, and the storm.

We live in a time of dark control, forces pressing life small and uniform. TV, radio, and news program us: eat this, take that, buy this while most still struggle just to make ends meet.

But the heart refuses to be standardised. Truth still sings, even when the air is thick with noise. The soul knows freedom and refuses to be caged. The darkness covers with narrative, agenda and rules.

Here you’ll find verses that are light to carry but heavy in meaning. Words for those who know the struggle is real and that beauty, humour, and honesty are resistance of their own.

If you’ve ever felt the weight of shadows, but still found a spark of light to write by you’re in the right place. Fore this is a bastion of Truth, enlightenment, knowledge and fight.

WELCOME

Come in, come in, and warm your toes,
Where memories hum and the old truth flows.
Come in, come in, beyond mere prose,
The facts ignite, the blindfold goes.

Come in, come in, it’s dark out there,
Step to the light, shed every care.
Come in, come in, the path is clear,
From buried past, the veil draws near.

Come in, come in, sit down, don’t hide,
Unfold the reel, let secrets ride.
Come in, come in, you’ve followed the tide,
Now pull the blindfold, open wide.

Come on, come on, you’ve much to share,
Hidden ink, the words laid bare.
Come on, come on, spill every bean,
Grab the chair, ignite the scene.

Come on, come on, and speak your truth,
Blow the roof with facts and proof.
Come on, come on, follow the clues,
Feed the lamp – now click, and choose.
